The eye test is more than just providing a prescription for glasses. The health of the eyes is of vital importance and our Optometrists take time to ensure that a thorough health check is undertaken.

Glaucoma, cataract, diabetes, hypertension as well as medications can all have an affect on the health of the eyes and on vision. A thorough eye examination will ensure that your eyes and vision are working to their best.

Retinal photography is used to take a photo of the back of the eye to help detect for minor changes, and monitor for future changes.

Visual field testing allows detection of loss of sensitivity and function of the nerves in the eyes from conditions such as glaucoma, which can result in vision loss.
